RAWLINGS 2005 1ST GOLD HOME RUN DERBY MONEY BASEBALL
Product Description
OFFICIAL RAWLINGS 2005 CENTURY 21 HOME RUN DERBY GOLD MONEY BASEBALL from the All Star Game Weekend in Detroit as Phillies All-Star Bobby Abreu puts on a power show.
CENTURY 21 Home Run Derby winner Bobby Abreu smacked a record 24 home runs in Round 1 and totaled 41 on the night to smash the single-Derby mark. Fourteen of the Gold balls were hit out and $294,000 was donated to charity.
This was the 1ST year that the Gold ball was used. A Gold Home Run Ball was inserted each time a batter was down to his 10th and final out, and Major League Baseball and CENTURY 21 donated a combined $21,000 to charity -- the Boys & Girls Clubs of America as well as Easter Seals -- for every golden sphere a Derby contestant deposited in the stands.
It is very LIMITED.
